Richmond Animal Hospital was established in 2006 and is an exclusively small animal clinic. We serve the village of Richmond and Ottawa West (Munster, Stittsville, Kanata, Barrhaven, North Gower, and surrounding areas).

Dr Robert Turmel owns and operates Richmond Animal Hospital. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1997 and brings experience in general practice, emergency medicine/surgery, anesthesia and critical care.

Accreditation

The College Of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO), the licensing body for veterinarians and veterinary hospitals in Ontario, serves to protect you and your animals. Richmond Animal Hospital has been accredited by the CVO to ensure we have an environment and the essential equipment required for patient care. It ensures our facility meets specific standards including equipment requirements, proper patient record-keeping, safe drug storage, medical reference library and orderly and sanitary premises. Richmond Animal Hospital is committed to veterinary health care by meeting the accreditation requirements and supports the periodic inspection program established by the CVO.
